Dr Matthew Voltz

Dr Voltz completed dental training in 1991 at the University of Qld. Following three years in General practice and working as a demonstrator at the Dental school he embarked on the Queensland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training program.

At the completion of a Medical qualification in 1998, Dr Voltz rotated through medical and surgical appointments at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and then spent a year at Ipswich Hospital as a Principal House Officer in General Surgery. Dr Voltz then went on to complete his formal Specialty training to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Since graduation, Dr Voltz has held consultant appointments at Ipswich General Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He has been involved in the training and exit examination of Specialist Trainees for the College. In 2004 he worked with partners to develop Brisbane Dental Specialist Centre where he now devotes his time to a busy private practice.
